Howdy, The MySQL 5.0.x series reached end of life from Oracle on 2012-03-21 [1]. We will be moving our mysql50 packages to the archive repositories during tonight's automation. We kept this release around for longer than normal to ease migration paths to newer versions of MySQL, but we feel that is no longer a concern. The packages will continue to be available in our archive repositories [2].
