April Elsasser is still having a problem:
WIthout Openssl10 you can't install PHP54 from the IUS channel as far as
I know. Here are the errors I got when I tried installing it while I had
the standard 'openssl' installed:
yum install php54

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
