Hello Daniel, Thanks for taking the time to submit this request. With a new package requests, we evaluate if it would be a good fit for IUS and if it is maintainable with our current resources. I am reviewing the Fedora spec file for this now; I'll keep you posted.

The only real location is remi, and that is bad times charlie. http://redis.io/download Currently on redis 3.0-7beta is out, and the next beta is scheduled on the 15th of July, so might just wait for 3.0.
