Just found out if you kill weston, then start it and give it a -I argument you can set the length of time until the screen locks. To disable screen lock, call "weston -I=0" and you won't see the lockscreen come up again.

That gives me more confidence that it's the same issue I ran into with a developer here but unfortunately there is no easy workaround for it that I could find. That Tizen IVI branch is also in sustaining mode at the moment so it is unlikely this would get fixed even if you filed a bug against it. Could you confirm which system (e.g. VTC-1000 or NDiS-166) you use and which preview version of Tizen IVI? Part of that stack is the Wayland Display Management library. There are two issues that we have failed to resolve ourselves, and they are: 1) The screen saver is fades after a fixed period of time and we cannot determine we would like to either disable this feature altogether, or at least change it to a much longer period of time before it goes to sleep. You should be able to configure this via weston.ini (under /root/.config/). Look for the [screensaver] section and the [locking] option (in [shell]) 2) When the system is initially powered on, the screen is not active until it is touched. This is extremely unhelpful when trying to use this system for a demo and like the prior issue, have not had any luck in figuring out how to disable it. I do recall something similar on VTC-1000 (i.e. using EMGD graphics drivers) but I'd have to look it up again to see if there was any workaround. Can you in the meantime confirm whether you are indeed using such platform? Can you provide any assistance in this area for us? If you could point us to the resolution of this that would be a great help.
