Hi KT Kim,

The GBS team has just put a new pre-release versoin. I've just tested it on my
machine and it allowed me to locally build the kernel-x86-ivi kernel.

You can find it here: http://download.tizen.org/tools/pre-release/openSUSE_12.2/

Do let us know if you give this a try!

Thanks,
Geoffroy

Subject: RE: [TIVI-3.0] Build Settings ?

I'm seeing that too... I'm running Ubuntu 13.04 (64-bit) with gbs 0.17.2. I
don't recall ever seeing that before but I have just re-installed my dev
machine and switched to 64-bit in the process... not sure if that's related at
all.

I've just run a couple of experiments:
- Revert gbs back to 0.16-1: still the same error
- Revert back to kernel (prior to 3.10 upgrade): that works, which seems
logical because we never had these macros in the spec file before the upgrade
to 3.10:

 %endif

I guess other packages may be affected if they use the same macros but I'm not
aware of any.

I will file a bug report for this but not sure who the 'culprit' is: the kernel
spec file that shouldn't use these macros (although OBS can handle these fine)
or gbs who should be able to handle these correctly...

Geoffroy

PS: another workaround is to set the %opensuse_bs Macro to '0' instead of '1'
in the build.conf file... but I really don't know if that's a valid workaround
for the other packages. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do/mean.

Subject: [TIVI-3.0] Build Settings ?

I want to build the latest kernel on OpenSUSE-12.2.
But, build error is occurred.(refer to Build Log)
Cause is the string of "<CI_CNT>.<B_CNT>" in spec file.
Building is ok, after I directly set values "0.0" instead of script
"<CI_CNT>.<B_CNT>".
Where the script "<CI_CNT>.<B_CNT>" comes from?
How can I build normally without setting values directly.
