Have you checked the content of /etc/fstab and /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf?

Its a 8gb usb device. I've used the bmap tool on agl-demo-x86-1.9.img.gz which
makes 3 partitions on the device as same.
When booted, crashes at the same instance.

I've already done that for 'ivi-main-min-a-tizen-ivi_20120712.3-sdb.raw' which
seemed to worked fine.

Subject: AGL demo

Agl-demo-x86-1.0.img.gz is flashed onto the usb device. It created boot, opt,
platform as ext4 partition.
When boot from usb, it crashes.

kernel panic - not syncing: VFS unable to mount rootfs on unknown block.

It sounds like the content of /etc/fstab is not correct and does not match your
set-up.

Also, when mounted on a host desktop. platform its not mounted, throws
up

"Error mounting: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
/dev/sdb3
missing codepage or helper program, or other error"

It sounds like a corrupted filesystem. How big is your USB stick (and make sure
it's big enough to hold the entire image).

Thanks,
Geoffroy
