Hi Mark, This is the git repo we were using back in the Tizen IVI 1.0 tiemframe. I’m assuming that you’re most interested in the work being done on Tizen IVI 3.0 and if so, the right repository to clone is review.tizen.org/platform/upstream/weston.git. I also still need to update that wiki page [1] to make it point to the latest preview which is now Tizen IVI 3.0-M2-Sep. The new repository to use is this one: http://download.tizen.org/releases/milestone/tizen/ivi/tizen_20131011.2/repos/ivi/ia32/packages/ Thanks, Geoffroy [1] https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/IVI/IVI_October_11,_3.0-M2-Sep
From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mark Callow Sent: Friday, October 25, 2013 11:31 AM To: [email protected] Subject: weston compile errors caused by compositor.h & wl_seat Hi, I apologize if this has been covered before. There is no search on the list archives and while I looked through a couple of months worth, I can't reasonably plough through nearly 2 years worth. We are trying to build weston and the simple-egl sample from the source at git://review.tizen.org/profile/ivi/weston.git We get compile errors relating to the fact that the struct weston_seat declared in compositor.h includes wl_seat, wl_pointer, wl_keyboard and wl_touch structures. None of these structures are declared anywhere in any of the include files in IVI's /usr/include. We also get a gazillion warnings that may or may not be related to these errors. The first error is compositor.h:217:17: error: field 'seat' has incomplete type Intel support told us to ask for help on this mailing list. I started with a freshly installed Ubuntu 12.04. I installed gbs and mic as instructed at https://source.tizen.org/documentation/developer-guide/installing-development-tools. (That page does not actually say what tools you need to install. It says it uses gbs and mic as examples to show the process. Are there others I should install? That page needs to have the complete list.) I then created a .gbs.conf file in the root of my clone of weston.git with the contents given at https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/How_to_contribute_to_Tizen_IVI. I then used the command "gbs build -A i586" A lot of packages were downloaded and installed then the compile started, only to end with the error described.
