Hello All,
I am trying to build tizen on pandaboard.
Issue I am facing:
1)while booting after kernel compressing getting error init not found.
Note:I checked in GBS-ROOt/../BUILD-ROOT/sbin/ dir there is no init
present.
(After build process i GOT this Directory)
In way You may help:
1)check in ur tizen_src hierarchy
(./externel/busybox/packaging/tizen.config file)
(whether INIT_utilities are set or not .... in my src code it
is not set)
2)When You build you must got local repogistry .
(In my case i got, nemed as GBS-ROOT)
A)then go to log/success/busybox.. directory
check in log file whether
Init utilities are set or not.
3)Check in your build GBS-ROOT directory
in source/tizen/tizen.config file (Init utilities.)
Some R&D what i did:
1)i changed tizen.config file init utilities as y
but still it is not reflected in GBS-ROOT tizen.config file
(I think bcoz it takes from internet directly)
Work Progress:
1)kernel image created successfully using Tizen_defconfig
2)created MLO & u-boot.bin
3)While booting uncompressing of kernel is done successfully
4)Error is coming in loading root file system (init not found)
5)i cross compiled busybox for linux and put linux init it worked
but it is linux .(just for checking purpose)
Guess:
If smtg wrong in this is getting wrong then kindly help if you
know the way fix it.
Some more information i need:
1)First check "In way You may help" points and let me know please.
2)for which tizen version you did for pandaboard.
2)Tell how you downloaded tizen-2.0(if you worked on this or tell
ur's if it is not.because i downloaded tizen2.2 and working on it.)
3)If possible send your init executable.
4)how to do local build for arm all packages(because in every build
it wants net connections)
5)kindly give your contact number and mail.id
