This is a follow up to that email with some updates. We've received a number of good submissions so the schedule is likely going to be full. If you are interested in submitting a talk to the devroom, I ask you to submit it as soon as you can. The deadline is at the end of December. One of the talks we've accepted is one from BMW on an Open Source autonomous vehicle platform. In addition, there are a number of talks, some covering technologies that Tizen uses. IVI is the focus but there are some talks that are purely automotive and Open Source, like builing HTML5 UIs with Franca. Though it is the first year of the automotive devroom, we've been granted a large room, showing the expectation that there will be a crowd at FOSDEM interested in this topic. This is a great opportunity to tell the world what you're working on!
