Hi folk, this problem has now gone away following a subsequent sync. I now have two further build fails, and some questions about my build strategy here, which I'll address in a separate mail.
Thanks, Mark PS. sorry about the crazy size of the sig here, that's 'corporate policy' at work..... Hi folk, currently synced to latest, and trying to build the system for i586. I'm seeing this build failure : [ 29s] + ./configure --build=i686-tizen-linux-gnu --host=i686-tizen-linux-gnu --target=i686-tizen-linux --program-prefix= --prefix=/usr --exec-prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc --datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib --libexecdir=/usr/libexec --localstatedir=/var --sharedstatedir=/usr/com --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --enable-mpbsd --enable-cxx [ 29s] configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-mpbsd [ 29s] configure: error: --target is not appropriate for GMP [ 29s] Use --build=CPU-VENDOR-OS if you need to specify your CPU and/or system [ 29s] explicitly. Use --host if cross-compiling (see "Installing GMP" in the [ 29s] manual for more on this). [ 29s] error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.fQ5JTv (%build) [ 29s] [ 29s] [ 29s] RPM build errors: [ 29s] Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.fQ5JTv (%build) I think the 'unrecognised option' complaint is probably a downstream error, as GMP claims to build with this option. I'm using this build command : gbs build -A i586 --threads=4 --exclude=libtool The libtool exclusion is due to a complaint about a circular dependency. I know GMP is involved in a bug at the moment ( TIVI-2546 ), but it's not clear that this related as I think it pertains to an ARM build. Anyone else seen this, before I raise a defect ? Thanks, Mark
