You might also look in the /etc/ambd config file and make sure that the
right plugins are getting loaded (can't tell you what they would be, off
the top of my head--sorry!)

Also, what version of AMB are you running?  I have noticed that newer
versions (release 12 or later) have changes to zones that might impact
backward compatibility...
