After rebuilding the kernel here is the current state of the installation:
We are now able to detect all the devices. Ethernet and Bluetooth are
working well.
The issues are now with WiFi and mobile broadband.
When using test-connman to enable WiFi we have the following output
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./test-connman", line 161, in <module>
technology.SetProperty("Powered", True)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/dbus/proxies.py", line 70, in

return self._proxy_method(*args, **keywords)

message, timeout)
dbus.exceptions.DBusException: net.connman.Error.OperationTimeout: Operation
timeout
Then in connmanctl the command technologies gives this:
/net/connman/technology/wifi
Name = WiFi
Type = wifi
Powered = False
Connected = False
Tethering = False
Hidden = False
/net/connman/technology/ethernet
Name = Wired
Type = ethernet
Powered = True
Connected = True
Tethering = False
Hidden = False
/net/connman/technology/bluetooth
Name = Bluetooth
Type = bluetooth
Powered = True
Connected = False
Tethering = False
Hidden = False
which means that our mobile broadband interface is ignored.
I think this is not a matter of driver anymore.

Ok Ill try rebuilding the kernel and let you know if it worked.
By the way I also noticed some issues related to ico uxf homescreen (windows
too big, enable to move/close windows, etc.).
Does anybody experience such issues?

If you know the linux kernel driver for your networking hardware, you can
easily rebuild a kernel
for yourself with the help of [1].
