The error you had pointed out only happens when I launch the app from ANSICON shell.
When I do the same series of command on the wayland terminal on the emulator, there doesn't throw up.. But the application is still not showing up on the emulator. I tried the command on another installation of the TIZEN IVI sdk on another windows machine. The results remain same.
