Dear All We found that in latest IVI image, sdb can't work now. We failed to connect with IVI device by sdb, one bug TIVI-2795 Unable to connect IVI device with "sdb connect [IP_ADDR]" is tracking this issue.
Does anyone help to check this issue? Below is some investigation info from our side: We found that this issue happened when sdbd is upgraded from "sdbd-3.0.0-9.2" to "sdbd-3.0.1-1.1". The error message is that: "Mar 14 02:57:17 ivi_box systemd[1]: Started sdbd. Mar 14 02:57:17 ivi_box sdbd[326]: sh: /usr/bin/debug_launchpad_preloading_preinitializing_daemon: No such file or directory". We also found a workaround that we can still use old sdbd on latest image to enable sdb connection on IVI device because our current work depends on sdb connection. Workaround: 1. zipper rm sdbd 2. add your proxy ( export http_proxy etc.) 3. rpm -ivh https://download.tizen.org/releases/daily/tizen/ivi/ivi/tizen_20140219.13/repos/ivi/ia32/packages/i686/sys-assert-0.3.3-15.3.i686.rpm 4. rpm -ivh https://download.tizen.org/releases/daily/tizen/ivi/ivi/tizen_20140219.13/repos/ivi/ia32/packages/i686/sdbd-3.0.0-9.2.i686.rpm 5. reboot Thanks Daniel
