*Workaround:*
1. Install ICO Homescreen by manual: 1) Launch Wayland Terminal and
execute "root:~> rpm -e weston-ivi-config" and "root:~> zypper install
ico-uxf-homescreen"; 2) Reboot system.
Do step 3 1st, can also install ico-uxf-homescreen-sample-apps
and make sure it also pull : genivi-shell weston-ivi-shell
I confirm it works fine assuming you're on the right hardware
2. Unmute alsa after system reboot: Launch Wayland Terminal and
execute: " ".
I guess you something is missing there ?
like:
l="Master Headphone PCM PCM2 Capture Mic"
for v in $l ; do amixer sset $v unmute ; amixer -c 0 sset $v 70% ; done
More details there https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TIVI-2799
3. To use the latest repository: Enable ivi-daily repository by
"zypper mr -e ivi-daily" and disable ivi-release repository by "zypper
mr -d tizen-ivi".
Would have put this step 1st since ico-uxf require this (1.)
Note to follow my previous remarks on hardcoded "latest" path to repo :
Tell me if I'm wrong but using "latest" path
will only work in a rolling release model and not version one
If I understood right sharing this fixed path among release
would make only the latest one supported ,
please confirm this is done on purpose.
The alternative is to replace this "latest" path to the actual version
(unreleased)
and keep that repo empty until release date
(better than mixing old previous release repo inside RC)
One benefit is that user might be able
to use this repo even after the later releases.
Of course this file will have to be refreshed on each cycle and will not
use "latest" anymore :

My 2 cents
