To me, as a realtime system guy, the question is more like if the policy handling chain is O(1) or not.

I wouldn't like to have ESC or ABS system decision making having garbage collection or similar since it could cause non-deterministic delays in time critical operation.

Well, I don't know if AMB is deterministic either...
