Hi Andy,

I recommend that you take a look at
https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/DEVT-165, as a starting point. There are a
number of issues with the gbs full local build, which is quite likely some of
what you are running into. In particular, there are issues with “build cycle”
dependencies, that force the exclusion of some packages during a full local
build. That, of course, means going back afterward and building those packages
separately.

I highly recommend that you add any relevant comments and output to the
existing gbs local build bugs, or create a new one on any particular issue you
may be running into. We are trying to aggregate some of these issues to get
them fixed. So anything you can add to this discussion is GREATLY appreciated.
It will also help you get your questions to the people best able to answer
them. Please do include me on the watchers, if you would be so kind.

If you could please open a bug and provide some info on what is currently
gating you, we can take a closer look and see how we can help.

Thanks,

Tracy

Subject: [TizenIVI 3.0]Tizen IVI 3.0 porting for ARM

Hello everyone

Tizen 3.0 IVI is available for x86 platform. As a part of my work, i am trying
to port the whole tizen software for ARM.

>From the Tizen help
>documentation<https://source.tizen.org/documentation/developer-guide/creating-tizen-platform-image-scratch-through-local-build>,
> i see the build tooling (MIC and GBS) supports ARM cross compilation also.
But, when i try to build for Tizen 3.0, it is failing with dependency errors.

What has to be done to make Tizen 3.0 working for ARM platform?

Is there any way to build the Tizen 3.0 for ARM?

Thank you.

Andy
