Hi, As I remember 3.0-M2-EOY had a mem leak in wrt, Settings app indeed could crash the system. This problem was solved with this commit - https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/c/15792/
However, there was another mem leak in wrt that wasn't fixed, it only ocurred when you resize wrt window, so it only happened with MiniBrowser, so I guess for Settings app the fix above is enough. Anyway, latest IVI images don't have these problems.
