I tried again and it was my fault. I was manually downloading the bmap file locally with the browser, and it recognized it as a xml file and changed it slightly when saving. Using wget works perfectly.

Thanks for looking at this, and sorry for the nuisance

Subject: Re: Tizen IVI 3.0 Sanity Test Report - 20141019.2

Hi, I tried to use this image first on a USB, as this guide explains:

https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/IVI/IVI_Installation#SectCopyToUSBStick

But with the 20141019.2 image, when trying to use the bmaptool I get the
following error:

[infapi00@atanagildo october]$ sudo bmaptool copy
tizen-ivi_20141019.2_ivi-efi-i586-sdb.raw.bz2 /dev/sdb
bmaptool: info: discovered bmap file
'tizen-ivi_20141019.2_ivi-efi-i586-sdb.bmap'
bmaptool: ERROR: checksum mismatch for bmap file

This error doesn't happens with the milestone image.

Best regards

distribution and report major regressions at the earliest time. All
the checkpoints in sanity test reflect the most important and basic
functionality, stability of the distribution.
