Hello,

Do it with pulseaudio.

1) pactl list sinks, will give you the possible routing targets

2) paplay -d=alsa-sink.xxxx test.wav, will play the file to particular sink

Or if you need to route some existing apps on the fly, you have
the possibility to configure pulseaudio-module-murphy-ivi
(module inside pulseaudio) to identify the app binaries and
route them to different "routing queues" which might have
different routing targets -> apps would go to different
outputs. If this is what you are after, I can give you
more specific instructions. The file to take a look at is
/etc/pulse/murphy-ivi.lua

Jaska

Subject: [IVI] Audio stream routing

Hi, everyone

This is a question about audio stream routing in IVI .

     Soft arch:
     gstreamer--->pluseaudio--->alsa

There are two media players playing different mp3 files at the same time.
How to route them to different sound card?
Where should I config the route? pluseaudio or alsa?

BR,
