Hi Ray,

Thank you for the feedback. I have already done the same thing using SDB, pkgcmd and app_launcher. Btw I have described the whole process at Tizen wiki. Initially the article was about Tizen:Common and now I have updated it because the procedure is the same for Tizen IVI:
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Installing_Web_Applications_on_Tizen:Common_and_Tizen_IVI

A similar procedure should be performed automatically when the "run" button at the Tizen IDE (aka Eclipse) from Tizen IVI SDK is clicked. Unfortunately, as described in my previous email it does not work properly and I am getting "(Return Code:1010)Widget installation failed". Can you or anyone else recommend how to fix this issue with Tizen IDE?

Best regards,
Leon

Hi, Leon

    Try these steps:
    1. Add a shared folder between PC and IVI emulator.
    2. Copy web app package to this folder.
    3. Install web app package with command: xwalkctl -i /path/to/package
    4. If step3 is OK, use this command to check appid: xwalkctl
    5. Then launch app with command: xwalk-launcher appid

BR,

Ray
