When the sympton appears, I have to press the button and hold it for a few
seconds until the program responded. After a few times of hard button
pressing, the system will go back into responsive mode like being woke up.
Is this an isolated problem?
I have a similar set up and I found that after a while the remote goes
totally dead. Never tried holding the button long term. The workaround that
was posted (before the recent patch) was to reset the IR in a crontab entry
once a month.
