Yes, please do. I was suprised that record-v4l.pl was moved to
obsolete since I could not find any other utilities that could be used
in a convenient way to do for example:
record-v4l2 -P 4 --no-record
record-v4l2 -P comp --no-record
record-v4l2 -P comp -P SVCD
But maybe some other utility will have the capability to specify named
parameter sets in a configuration file and use them conveniently. My
specification file for the above is:
