Still working well for me and I'll let you know of any feedback. Would
there be any chance of exporting ivtv_reset_ir_gpio from the ivtv module
in the 0.3.9 release? I can provide a separate patch if so. This would
be nice as the IR blaster driver that I have requires it, and getting
people to correctly patch whichever random version of ivtv they happen
across is a support headache. I can't really see that breaking anything.
Thanks for applying the export patch -- that's very helpful.
I've had one other person testing the i2c patch since the 4th October
and they report the same result I've had -- no issues with the IR chip
failing to respond. So I'm increasingly confident that this does
address the problem.
Any volunteers to test would be useful :)
