As I said, it didn'tt install under /lib/modules/2.6.13-gentoo-r3. This is the older version under -r2. The output of 0.4.0 make looked pretty much identical. The INSTALL commands said the same thing except 0.4.0. I'll get more data tomorrow when I have access again and can try another install.
