About msp3400 merging, I tried to avoid regression on both sides, since
there were improvements on both trees. Newer merged version (available
at V4L CVS) worked well for me, using BTSC on PAL/M. Should work well
also on NTSC. Should be tested on European PAL stds and SECAM.
I fixed some warnings on 2.4 kernel, but I didn't have time to test
2.4. I think I miss something at thread implementation for 2.4.
