I recently upgraded to the 4.0 drivers and the 10.6 xdriver.  I was hoping these would go away (I had them in earlier releases).  They are apparently not leaving and they make the system unusuable as a video device.  The errors from /var/log/messages are:

Oct 17 17:58:00 PVR kernel: ivtv0 warning: IRQ: IVTV_IRQ_DEC_DMA_ERR
Oct 17 17:58:31 PVR last message repeated 27574 times
Oct 17 17:58:32 PVR last message repeated 1524 times
It appears that my PVR-350 card is taking an inordinate amount of interrupts:

           CPU0
  0:     355328    IO-APIC-edge  timer
  1:         10    IO-APIC-edge  i8042
  7:          3    IO-APIC-edge  parport0
  8:          0    IO-APIC-edge  rtc

NMI:        103
LOC:     355166

The lspci output is:

02:07.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC15 MPEG-2 Enc
oder (rev 01)
Subsystem: Hauppauge computer works Inc. WinTV PVR-350
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 209
        Memory at d8000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=64M]
Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2

There are no other devices sharing the IRQ so I am at a loss on why I am getting the error.  Anybody know what exactly the message means coming from the IRQ routine?

Thanks,
Greg
