Hi all,

I've just released ivtv-0.5.1 from the unstable 0.5.x series containing
mostly bug fixes. It can be downloaded here:

http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/archive/0.5.x/ivtv-0.5.1.tar.gz

Note that starting with 0.5.0 the firmware files are renamed and should
now be placed in the firmware hotplug directory (see
http://www.ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Firmware for more info).

Please report any problems with this release on the ivtv-devel list. You
need the v4l from the CVS repository (see README.1ST) in order for this
to work. Hopefully the relevant changes will go into the 2.6.15 kernel
before it is released.

The 0.5.2 release will contain the merged Japanese 'paken' branch of
this driver. Before starting the merge I wanted to release 0.5.1 with
all outstanding changes.

Enjoy,

        Hans Verkuil

ChangeLog:

0.5.1 release
- fixed memory overwrite in ivtvctl.
- fixed memory overwrite in ivtv-detect.
- closes #43: fixed kernel oops due to broken debug messages.
- fixed kernel oops when loading ivtv-fb without ivtv cards being found.
- closes #58: add workaround for the PVR150 hardware bug that affects
PVR150 cards with tuner models 85, 99 and 112.
- closes #57: in v4l the number of vbi minors has been increased, which
allows the driver to use the '+8' scheme and to support more than 4
PVR350 cards.
