Last known working kernel is 2.6.14-1.1760_FC5 (2.6.15-rc5-git3) I'm currently running 2.6.14-1.1696_FC5 (rebuilt version of the FC5T1 kernel, since I need the building gcc version to match the one used to build ivtv, and I stupidly removed 2.6.14-1.1760_FC5 before noticing it was the last ivtv-friendly rawhide kernel) >> 3. x86_64 + pvr 150 hardware >> >> 4. The firmware files should not matter - I've tested two different firwmare versions, and Red Hat has been updating gcc aggressively in rawhide. The only thing that changes between working and non-working setups is the kernel version. Right now I'm using (pvr 150 22_22292 driver) d85cb08382395390dc95ac6ebc2205f9 */lib/firmware/v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw a6f6a90a3be338cdb89d59e835798408 */lib/firmware/v4l-cx25840.fw Before I used (pvr 150 2_23258 driver) 5f5fa240ada73c3565f5f7de4c7b5138 */lib/firmware/v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw e8e7153dbf12f90d252b8df2966bc183 */lib/firmware/v4l-cx25840.fw I'm only using the svideo input, the htpc is sitting behind a digital cable box. Dave Jones releases new kernel packages almost daily, today's is 2.6.14-1.1777_FC5 so I'll test it later. But if its like the 5-6 last ones it won't work at all with ivtv.
