what kind of hardware do you have?
i got seized with this strange desire to upgrade a working system...and now tuner 1 of my pvr500 acts like there's no cable.
tuner 2 works just fine. i'm running a svn checkout from *today* off the 0.4 branch. i started by upgrading to 0.4.1...that broke everything. after some messing around (including a downgrade to 0.3.8), i got tuner 2 to work and tuner 1 to go from being stuck on scifi to thinking there was no cable feed.
i'm on gentoo 2.6.12-r9
(i think i was wanting to upgrade my modules at the same time i upgraded the kernel to 2.6.15...but now i just want to fix everything and then upgrade my kernel to the first version to have the ivtv driver in the main package)On 1/6/06, Walter Haidinger < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Hi!_______________________________________________
Because >= 0.4.1 seems to be broken (for me, cannot tune,
ivtvctl -I says cannot read SAA regs, VIDEO_STATUS = Bad),
I'd like to revert to the "last known good" ivtv version
- 0.4.0.
Therefore: Any way of compiling 0.4.0 under 2.6.15?
Attempt to compile fails:
