You might want to be a little careful with this. For me, at least,
with my 350, whose record levels run 6-9dB hotter than any of my
250's, recording at high input clips and therefore sounds buzzy and
bad. OTOH, my 250's don't clip at that level, so whatever sounds good
to you is presumably okay. But try some loud source material before
you make up your mind; if you only notice this down the road and
change it then, you'll have a mix of stuff recorded at different
levels.
