Update and apologies - despite my earlier hope some recordings are still exhibiting this motion stutter; Static parts of a frame are fine but movement is discordant and jerky. A given recording either exhibits it all the way through, or doesn't at all, and recordings made subsequent to a 'jerky' one can turn out fine. All recording managed via MythTV + PVR350 tuner0 at PAL resolutions.
