No idea. It's easy to check: look in the file
drivers/media/video/cx25840/cx25840-core.c, search for 'Saturation'. If
the struct has a .maximum value of 255, then it's wrong. It should be
127.

You can try. If nothing else it'd be interesting to see if it works. I
haven't tested it for a long time. Note that I'm really postponing the
final checks until the kernel is out for the simple reason that I'm
working on a few other ivtv things: I've added support for the Yuan
MPC622 miniPCI board (thanks to Justin Nevill for donating this card)
and the Gotview PCI DVD2 (thanks to the help of Emil Biserov). Fixed a
few bugs, and I want to add support for AVC (automatic volume control).
And since I'll be working on the audio I'll also take another look at
the reported tinny audio problems.
So I'm busy this week.
Most of this new stuff is for the trunk and will end up in ivtv-0.7. But
when ivtv-0.6 is prepared I'll take a look if some of the new stuff can
be easily backported to that version.
