Well, I'm now seeing similar results as those reported by Jim P. a few days ago. Namely, the new firmware seems to resolve the direct problem within ivtv (I am no longer seeing the tinny audio problem when repeating ivtvctl -q0 as I was with previous versions of the firmware). However, I still get *some* occurrences in Mythtv recordings. The frequency of these occurrences seems reduced -- with limited testing, I've had one occurrence in about 15 recordings.
