Please help. I am getting the below. I have spent three hours now
searching the web trying to figure out what to do.
What is hotplug? It seems to not matter. udev is the way to go now.
Of course, all the documents on the subject seem written for someone
running in another environment other then Fedora Core 5. By the way, I
still have not seen a good document on describing how to ensure that
udev is working or how to get any information from it or how it is
configured... Well you get the idea.

looking for anything FIRMWARE in my /etc directory I have found:

Whatever that means.
What do I do? It looks like the files are in the right place. Please
help and I will try to ask any questions you have.
