Running ivtv 0.4.4 on my MythTV box and every so often I get MPEG artifacts. I've often used the machine for a week or more with no issues, then suddenly every channel gives me corruption.
So what are the best tips for debugging this. I've checked both the system and mythtv logs and no DMA or other issues are being reported. Hardware is an Asus A8N-VM CSM board running an Athlon 64 3000+ cpu. There are no other PCI cards in the unit. There is a USB DVB-T tuner but it has no reception issues. I've tried changing the cable to the aerial, but even with a direct feed to the card once the problem starts it remains. I'm wondering if I need to tune the PCI bus as sometimes I can just reboot and the problem goes away. Also looked at reloading the firmware onto the card which didn't make a difference.
