I still have this problem, on two different machines. (PVR250 with decoding through DVB-card; PVR350 using the PVR350 itself for TV-out). The flickering occurs not often, but regularly. When it appears, than it comes immidiately after switching a channel. In earlier versions of the ivtv driver it helped to zap to another channel and go back. In the meantime this doesn`t work - once the flickering appears, it remains. The only solution is a reboot or stop vdr, execute a "ivtvctl -H" and restart vdr. (FW-reload does not work as long as vdr and its pvrinput-plugin is running) I think this is the most important ivtv-problem (together with ghosting) -- "Feel free" – 10 GB Mailbox, 100 FreeSMS/Monat ...
