Sorry this took so long. It's been busy lately...

I removed my patch, rebooted and turned off hyperthreading in the bios. It
gets a couple more lines outputed before crashing but the result is the
same. Without my patch it always crashes as it is loading or shortly is had
loaded the 2nd firmware file. With my patch in place which pauses slightly
after the successful loading of a firmware it always works flawlessly.
