My mythtv system froze up earlier today. It was still sort of
responding, but it took like 30 seconds after I pressed the key just
for caps lock to turn on.

$uname -a
Linux 2.6.16-gentoo-r12 #1 PREEMPT Sun Jul 16 10:18:56 PDT 2006 i686
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1400MHz GNU/Linux

I know I'm not on the latest ivtv/kernel versions, and if anyone
thinks that would help I'll definitely update to those. Thanks for the
great work, everyone.
