 Thanks for taking a look at this.  I got my new drive and I installed
FC5 i386 and updated it to the latest kernel
(2.6.17-1.2174_FC5smp.i386).  I am running the smp version now with
all the same rpms installed.  I am able to run ivtv-0.7 and mythtv
(svn head) with no issues.  I am not getting the ivtv timeout error
when I change channels in MythTv.

I do not know what 32bit vs. 64bid does for ivtv and mythtv together.
