I've been looking at the DVB-S2/S/T and analog hybrid cards for my next system build.
I see the new one from Hauppauge news says: The Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000 TV tuner card offers the following features for watching and recording TV on a PC: · Receives high definition DVB-S2 satellite TV · Receives standard definition DVB-S satellite TV and DVB-S satellite radio · Receives DVB-T digital terrestrial TV and DVB-T radio · Receives analog PAL TV and FM radio · Records video from an A/V source such as a VCR or set top box Hauppauge and CyberLink will ship their solution in Q3 2006. I gather as long as the chipsets on the i2c bus register properly, and the chips are supported by ivtv, this new card should work ok? (maybe some BIG assumptions there?) Does anyone use a DVB/analog hybrid card today with ivtv??
