I was trying to revive an old socket a based mb, and I just wanted to
let you guys know that I had a "-16 irq error" on the second tuner of
a PVR-500....everything was done correctly...but for some reason, all
versions of the ivtv driver produced this same error ONLY in dapper
drake AND on this crappy mobo - a (pcchips/esa/?brand) socket a mobo
w/2 pci slots...dapper drake and 2 different mobos and it works fine.

lspci listed both tuners, but dmesg gave the -16 irq error on the
second tuner even tho the first one initialized properly....I tried to
ignore it, but step 4 of mythtv-setup just continued to give errors
for the second tuner only!

I understand that this mobo sucks...it doesn't even have a model/brand
nuffin on it, but they are sold on ebay and I'm sure quite a few
people have 'em. I know that the drivers worked before kernel 2.6.15
and it should work during and after 2.6.15 usage. It's probably
something that the Ubuntu devs did....so, pester them so that it works
again. Don't bother suggesting that I get a new mobo, it should be
here on Tuesday. But hopefully nobody else runs into this problem.

Moral of the story, Ubuntu kernel must have a bug and I dunno who to
tell, so I'm telling you.
