Hans,  After a few weeks of running this patch, I no longer seem to have sound problem with my PVR500.  Previously, I would get a lot of static for audio on every 1 out of 15-20 recordings or channel changes.   Do you think this change is something you plan on including in future releases of ivtv, or is this likely something that we will have to change and compile ourselves with new releases?  Has anyone had any negative effects due to this patch?  Is there any real advantage of turning off the digitizer in the first place?  Just curious.   Thanks again for your efforts Hans.   Doug   On Sep 25, 2006, at 4:41 AM, Hans Verkuil wrote: Argus (and anyone else with tinny audio problems), Can you confirm that the attached patch also works?
