I had this flickering with different versions of ivtv sometimes, mostly in recordings (i don't use my vdr for live-tv-watching). I used to set timers before recordings to force a channelswitch and remove the flickering. Once i reproduced the flickering during capturing a VHS over the composite input, which had a bad tape at one point. Unfortunately i do not have this tape anymore. I haven't seen the flickering anymore, after i plugged an amplifier before my PVR150.
