http://www.missl.cs.umd.edu/~adam/x.pgm Hello, I was wondering if perhaps that 720 lines assumption in the HM12 algorithm couldn't be cast into question. I use magic similar to this to obtain image : ./README.hm12 /dev/video32 | split -b 414720 mv xaa xa.Y mv xab xa.U mv xac xa.V yuvsplittoppm xa 720 576 > README.hm12.ppm gqview README.hm12.ppm Now I took the "xa.Y" file (luminance) from above and prepended to it "P5\n720 576\n" to produce the above mentioned xa.pgm and x.pgm files. Most of the time I get image like to xa.pgm, but sometimes it happens to look like the x.pgm above. does the disortions in x.pgm looks familar to anything seen before? FWIW, running "mplayer /dev/video" gives me 320 x 240 iamge. -- Adam Sulmicki http://www.eax.com The Supreme Headquarters of the 32 bit registers _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-devel
