I rolled back to 0.8.x. Do you get messages about a full VBI stream or about a full MPEG stream? If VBI capturing is on in MythTV, then you can get VBI buffer messages fairly easily (I have to look into this, it is caused by a driver change). MPEG errors should take longer.
with trunk I got a whole lot of VBI and MPEG buffer errors, with 0.8.xbranch only MPEG errors ocasionally. Note that the number of MPEG buffers are now set at 4 MB which is roughly
4 seconds worth of buffering. The VBI capture will probably start complaining after 1-2 seconds.
I have enc_mpg_buffers=16, does it make a difference?
