Hi there, I know its more are pure user question, but I was too lazy to subscribe to ivtv-users.
The problem is well known. Because of the overscan the edges of the console are cut off when you use your TV as the console. Is there any solution yet? I googled around finding nothing. Could I maybe experiment with the fonts? The last possibility is to create a kernel with bootsplash support. These bootsplashes have an output window in which the console is about 2-3 cm away from the edges. Did anyone try this?
