Hi all,

I have updated the encoder firmware to the latest version (2.06.039).
This required some small changes in existing drivers, so I've made new
releases.

You can get the new firmware here:

http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/firmware/firmware.tar.gz

And the new drivers here:

http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/archive/0.7.x/ivtv-0.7.4.tar.gz
http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/archive/0.6.x/ivtv-0.6.7.tar.gz
http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/archive/0.4.x/ivtv-0.4.10.tar.gz

For the record: 0.4.10 is for kernels <= 2.6.15, 0.6.7 is for kernel
2.6.16 and 0.7.4 is for kernel 2.6.17.

Kernels 2.6.18 and up require ivtv-0.10.0, for which a separate
announcement will be made.

Important notice:

I strongly recommend that people upgrade to kernel 2.6.18 or up and
ivtv-0.10.x or up. Driver maintenance for older kernels (in ivtv-0.4.x,
0.6.x and 0.7.x) will be effectively discontinued. Version 0.10.0 and
up is where the development effort will be concentrated. This version
has seen a major internal redesign and clean up in order to solve
certain race conditions. These changes won't be backported due to the
huge amount of work needed to do that.

Regards,

        Hans
