Hi to all, I had a lot of problems to get my pvr150-remote working. lirc_i2c was not able to recognize it. last week I got it somehow to work with lirc from cvs.
Yesterday I put my computer to standby (suspend to mem). lirc_i2c was not able to recognize the remote after waking up. Reboot and recompiling lirc and ivtv did not help at all. I asked on this page ( http://www.blushingpenguin.com/mark/blog/?p=24) for some advice and Mark told me to try to contact Hans on ivtv-devel, so here I am. he told me to run "--reset-ir", but I always got this error when I run it: ioctl VIDIOC_INT_RESET failed: Invalid argument Now, situation is same as a few days ago. Remote is not recognized and I am trying all the combinations to get it work: ivtv newi2c=1, newi2c=0, old lirc, new lirc, old kernel, new kernel ... and I have no idea what to do now. Mark suggested me to try this "you can power off the machine, disconnect the power cord, wait for a minute or so, then power it up again", but it did not help. I also tried his lirc_pvr150 module, but also no success.
