Hi,
I'm using Ivtv 1.2.0 with current firmware, on kernel 2.6.25.
My card is PVR-150MCE, model 26559 rev C257.
I'm experiencing three kinds of problems, after channel change:

1) Logs are showing that card is still detecting audio standard.
Sometimes, it must wait some time, then sound kicks in.
2) Audio standard is misdetected. I hear static noise with faint
program sounds in background. After couple of seconds,
strange rhytmical drum-like sound appears (can't describe it exactly).
3) Audio standard isn't detected at all, so the sound is muted.

Sometimes, I can get clear sound after running ivtv-tune multiple times,
using the same frequency, or I'm lucky and got sound immediatelly.
Recordings are also broken. While using HcwMakoB.ROM I was able to get
rid of this strange drum-like sound, but audio was out of sync and running
mplayer /dev/video0 results in same problems as desribed here:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/devel/38502

| Too many video packets in the buffer: (4096 in 7998444 bytes).
| Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
| For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.

After installation of another OS, Mythbuntu on kernel 2.6.24 and ivtv 1.1.0,
situation is the same. I'v tried cold-booting all firmwares from
http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/firmware/, with no result. All of them except
older ones were loaded propely. Also tried HcwMakoA.ROM, HcwMakoC.ROM,
and firmware from my working Windows drivers.

The card is fully working on Windows.

Before, I thought that this is connected with "tinny audio problem" so i tried
switching
to another sound input, and applying common solutions but it's not working
either.

I've also tried to change PCI slot, but it's still not working.

The problem is also described here (same card model 26559, but my rev is C257):
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/devel/38502.

And here:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/users/37480?search_string=audio%20standard;#37480

And similar problem here:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/users/35603?search_string=audio%20standard;#35603

There is patch in
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/devel/19590?search_string=detection;#19590
but I don't know if it's usefull and how can i apply this to recent ivtv
version.

I've recently bought this card to watch and record Olympics.
After browsing numerous Linux forums for opinions about this hardware and Ivtv,
i was sure that i will work perfect.

Please help me. I'll post all needed logs on demand. I'm looking forward to any
answer.
